7th Grade Counseling Survey

Dear Carrington students,
Thank you for taking the time to visit our page! We are here to support you in any way that we can. Our offices are located in the guidance suit, which is off of A hall, directly across from the steps leading to B hall and the second floor. If you put your curser on the “Student” tab located above, a number of helpful resources will pop up for you to browse.
Most things mentioned or talked about by students in counseling are held in confidence (kept private). Exceptions or limitations to this rule is when the counselor believes there is a real danger to the student or to others and/or when the student is in violation of the drug/alcohol policy.
We are here to support you in a number of ways so you can be a successful student here at Carrington. This includes:
· Goal setting
· Individual counseling
· Academic planning and success skills
· Talking with friends, teachers, or parents
· Conflict resolution
· Strategies to help out when life is difficult
· Small group counseling and classroom guidance
· Planning for middle, high school, and careers
· And many, many more…
Come stop by the guidance suite to figure out a time to talk with us. You can leave a request with Ms. Spellman, who sits behind the large reception desk, or leave a note with your full name in your counselor's mailbox. You can also let us know if you see us walking the halls, the cafeteria, classrooms, or the guidance suite.
All students coming from their classroom to the guidance office must be called to the office by a counselor or have a pass from the teacher.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Rawlinson, Ms. Johnson, and Mr. Soper
